Hi everyone, I have had to change the engine in my Fiat diesel multijet after the last one when bang, all was going well, engine changed etc etc and started first time, only problem i have is that i will not rev past 3000 RPM, it seems to bounce on the rev counter as if it is hitting some sort of limiter, what i dont know Symptoms below: - 1.3 Multijet 90bhp engine, smokes white/grey when cold but no issues of any kind when up to temp. - Fluid/oil levels unaffected and nothing mixing. - glow plugs checked and all fine. - no overheating or dash lights etc runs perfect from the turn of the key. - turbo is very noticeable in whine in low gears, but boosts fine and

I have Fiat Doblo make year 2006 with 1.3 Multijet engine. The engine has very little power (like it wouldn't have turbocharger) below 3.000 rpm and above that runs normal. I'm not too bad with cars but can't seem to work out how to change it.. I know the aux belt has to come off and presume that's a stretch one as I can't see a tensioner.? Originally an obd scan check showed code P2563. This indicated initially a boost position sensor issue. I duly replaced the boost sensor then ran the engine, the code reappeared. I checked all wiring, including short circuit tests, by pulling all fuses one-by-one and checking parasitic current drain. No faults found on the wiring. 6. Sep 6, 2015. #1. Apr 12, 2011. #1. Hello there. I am hoping for some pointers. My dad has a 56 plate multijet (Doblo) diesel that has had a few issues. Issue 1 was some sort of engine failure. I recall he mentioned the inlet manifold had melted or similar and a new engine was installed.
